Wanting to elevate their direct to consumer presence and needing to replatform from Magento 1 as it fast-approached end-of-life, Prestige required a scalable, modern platform. Choosing to replatform to Shopify Plus over Magento 2, we supported them through the transition.
- Enhance their D2C presence online
- Effectively communicate their brand and USPs
Prestige - part of Meyer Group, home to a network of cookware brands - design and manufacture a wide range of cookware for everyday mealtimes. To fulfil their ambition of making everyone’s life in the kitchen a little easier and a little more enjoyable, they were ready to take their brand direct to the consumer.
Held back by a clunky, outdated and difficult to navigate website, the end of support for their legacy Magento 1 site combined with a reliance on their design agency was making it difficult and expensive for them to manage their online presence. To put them back in control, Shopify Plus became the platform of choice.
A modern, accessible redesign.
Prestige needed a streamlined, modern site that would instantly make their brand more friendly and accessible directly to consumers. Creating an easy and more enjoyable user experience, the Prestige site was designed with Meyer Group’s other cookware brands, Circulon and Analon, in mind, forming a site structure that would support future development across the Group.
Considering best practice such as clear delivery messaging, signposting bestselling products and promoting key brand messaging through a USP bar, the new Prestige design sets the standard for Meyer Group’s online D2C presence.
Bettering the onsite experience.
True to their brand passion - making life in the kitchen better – custom ‘Pan Set Builder’ functionality creates a personalised shopping experience, enabling customers to build their own tailored pan set with the added benefit of a discounted price.
Key to the project was integration with their picking and packing app, Papa. Working with integration partner, VL OMNI, Prestige have a seamless solution that can support the addition of future Shopify sites within the Meyer Group.
To further enhance the onsite customer experience, several third-party apps were implemented including Klarna for payment flexibility and Nosto to provide personalised product recommendations. Leading review platform, Bazaarvoice, builds consumer trust while Zendesk supports users with enhanced customer service capabilities. Using Shopify’s impressive native functionality, the Prestige site currently uses their Wishlist app and built-in search functionality.
With a fresh, modern site that elevates their D2C brand presence, we will continue to work with Prestige and the Meyer Group to ensure ongoing success, making UX focused optimisations to their store fuelled by real on-site user interactions.
