This week we are excited to announce the launch of the new refreshed website for Kidscapes.
Kidscapes is an established brand of stylish and creative wall stickers for children. Whilst the business trades through third party marketplaces such as Not On The High Street, there was a desire to grow the online store. To achieve this, a brand new interface and commercially-focused design was needed.
The primary challenge will be to use the online store to grow overall sales and revenue. Whilst strong partnerships can be had with other marketplaces, an owned platform is always good to have. But you need to ambitiously grow your revenues whilst not stealing business away from these marketplaces.
To ensure that the business gets a return on investment, the website had to be transformed into a high performance online sales channel.
This meant that key pages such as product pages were optimised for conversions using the latest industry research and best practice.
The website is also mobile and tablet friendly which is an important expectation that we all have as customers. Customers are less likely to bounce from the site when they visit a mobile-friendly site and they are also more likely to make a purchase.
We used an up-to-date, flexible eCommerce platform to ensure that new products can easily be added and additional customisations can be implemented quickly. This will allow the business to efficiently introduce new innovations and strategies to grow their business further.
There are also opportunities for digital marketing in the new year with additional email marketing activity, social media marketing, digital advertising and even content marketing such as blog posts and guides. Digital marketing can strategically position Kidscapes as the go-to brand for quality British wall stickers and can also be used to inspire potential customers into making repeat purchases.
Just like many retailers, the festive period is just around the corner so the business is keeping busy with their personalised gift items and Christmas-themed stickers. In 2016, the team have plans to double their revenues and are currently discussing new strategies that they can implement to do so.
