About the project
Leeds City Region Skills Network wanted to build a website that highlighted the importance of businesses investing in training for their staff, and that promoted them as a central point of contact for employers that are looking to develop skills in their business.
We were delighted that Statement were chosen out of over 40 different agencies that pitched to design and develop the website for Leeds City Region Skills Network.
Who are Leeds City Region Skills Network?
Leeds City Region Skills Network are passionate about helping businesses to improve the skills of their staff, and aim to signpost employers to suitable educating and training providers that can help them to meet their goals.
They represent Colleges, Higher Education Institutions and private & voluntary sector skills providers from across Leeds City Region and work together to meet the needs of employers and the city region economy.
Employers often have an interest in developing skills in their business but lack the time it can take to look into all of the different types of training available, and all of the many organisations that can provide training.
Leeds City Region Skills Network aim to simplify this process by being a central point of contact for businesses with a desire to invest in skills by helping them to find the right providers.
What they had to say about the project
Clair Kerry, Partnership & Communications Officer at the Leeds City Region Skills Network said the following:
Following a competitive selection process, we chose to work with Statement based on their understanding of our purpose and our target audience. The result is a website that not only meets our needs but, more importantly, provides a strong platform for the type of engagement from users that we hoped for. We have received an excellent service from Statement and we are really pleased to have developed a good working relationship with the team – thank you!
